MyZone & Data File Storage

myzone.tcd.ie

Did you know that all TCD students have access to an online data storage facility via their MyZone account? After logging into MyZone you can access this facility via the Documents link at the top left of the screen. This brings you into your Google Docs facility where you can create new documents or upload files.

Once in the Google Docs facility, towards the top left of the screen you will see the option to Upload. After choosing this you can then drag-and-drop files to upload, or choose Select files to upload and then locate the relevant file(s) you wish to store online. Note that it is recommended to uncheck the option to Convert documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and drawings to the corresponding Google Docs formats.

The capacity of this online storage location is 1GB (1024MB) and as it is part of your College MyZone account it means you can access any files stored here from any computer with internet access via http://myzone.tcd.ie. As you retain your MyZone account when you finally leave College, files uploaded to this MyZone Storage area will also remain available to you.
