What’s your name?
Ben Doyle

What do you do?
I am a Network Access Adviser for the User Support Group in IS Services. I work   as part of the team that staffs the Network Access Clinics. We give 1-to-1 support, troubleshooting wired and wireless connectivity issues for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

What kind of music are you listening to at the moment?
The Chemical Brothers

What do you think is the next big thing in IT?
Well, desktops were predominantly replaced by laptops a few years ago, I think that we will now see laptops replaced by tablets and other mobile devices.

What do you do?
Currently working as a Network Access Adviser – am 58 so untypical NAA I guess – and am an off books Post Grad student – hoping to finish Masters in Technology and Learning. NAAs help students get their laptops, iPhones and iPads connected to the College Network..

What kind of music are you listening to at the moment?
Mahler, Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin

What do you think is the next big thing in IT?
Next big thing is the cloud and continued evolution of handheld devices.
