Notice for staff and postgrads running Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4, 10.5

We are writing to notify you of an upcoming change that will affect those connected to the College network with Mac computers running Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4 and 10.5 in offices and labs or on the staff wireless network.

As Apple has discontinued support for certain older versions of Mac OS X, IS Services has expanded available support for newer Apple operating systems, and is in process of greatly reducing the available support for the older versions listed above.

From 31st August 2013, IS Services will no longer be able to provide full support or accept new network connections for these versions of Mac OS X.

If your computer is running one of these older versions, then please visit our FAQ for advice on what to do in relation to upgrading or replacing your Apple Mac.  Please also note that the IS Services Helpdesk is always on-hand for anyone seeking additional advice.
